As part of their Spring 2017 Edition’s “An ‘Over The Top’ Friend, or a Threat?” RBR+TVBR editors interviewed Mario L. Castellanos, CEO of Spincast, Inc. who stated “Every other OTT platform has gone the sub route, and eventually there will be too many players seeking too many subscriptions.” Castellanos added: “I want every single local newscast, and every locally produced program, on Spincast,” Castellanos says. “This is how Spincast is designed to complement local TV, and not necessarily compete with it.”
